Does Age Matter for Resistance and High Intensity Training

Can you Ever be too old for high intensity training or resistance training. Studies show that exercising at 70 to 80 percent of intensity (8-13 reps) can result in an increase in power. Resistance training combined with HIIT ( high intensity interval training) promotes , increased aerobic capacity, mitochondrial respiration and improves age related decline in muscle. Consult with your medical doctor first and start an exercise program, you may see improvements that improve quality of life.
